Rose Court

My mother was transferred to Rose Court after being diagnosed with Dementia. The staff were always friendly and treated her with kindness. She was always clean and very well fed. We were always kept informed of any concerns or changes with her. Our suggestions were always welcomed. Her room was kept very clean as were her clothes. We were sad when we had to have her transferred to another care home due to her decline and need for an increased level of care. We are only hoping that her new place is as caring as Rose Court.

I have made several visits. The rooms are pleasant and airy, the staff are efficient, friendly and helpful. If I ever get to needing a care home, I would want to be in one like this. I have witnessed a couple of the activities for residents and they seem to cover a good range of tastes.

I felt that my husband was in safe hands and spending his days in a relaxed and friendly environment.

I am really pleased with Rose Court care home. My mum is a resident there. They are all very caring and lovely. My mum is very happy.

Managment seemsed to have improved lots issues are delt with quickly.

The manager and staff here are lovely, despite being busy. I have had the pleasure of meeting the manager, Tin, for the 1st time because I needed, the response "no problem, sorted". In short the staff and management are professional, helpful and kind, and will sort out problems whenever they can. Thank you, Greg.

Staff kind, caring and patient. Residents could be given more stimulation and encouraged to take part in activities, exercise more, be taken into the garden, especially in good weather. Not so good for them to be put in the lounge with the TV blaring, apparently of no interest to residents who seem to be sleeping. Self-care should also be encouraged, e.g. shaving.

Dad is looked after and cared for by really caring staff. They tend for all his needs. The room and toilet is clean. Dad likes going to the activities, and really enjoys them. Dad himself says he is looked after and gets nice meals. We are happy with everything at Rose Court. Staff work hard to make residents feel at home and looked after.

From the very start I felt comfortable leaving my husband in Rose Court the staff were friendly and helpful and still the same the activities are brilliant brithdays and the cake really special after a few years I have become very friendly with the carers who take care of my husband they are very special to me and also the manager who is brilliant.

Mum became a resident at Rose Court a year ago due to the progression of her dementia. It took a long while for her settle and for us to understand the workings there. As a daily visitor Ive got to know the staff on her floor who care for her. And from the team leaders to the carers and even the domestic worked, they have always been professional and caring. Due to mums dietary needs Ive interacted with the kitchen who have accommodated with what she needs. Mum loves the church services but does not always take part in all activities, but enjoys it when she does. She has her hair done regularly and has seen the GP often when needed. Recently we requested a room change to another that suited mums needs better, and management obliged with very little fuss. What I feel has been rea;;y important is the continuity of staff. There has been no agency cover needed and allowed the carers and mum to get to know each other. Overall we're happy with Rose Court and so is mum - she is 87 years old.

A very caring home.

My mother has been a resident for a couple of weeks with a view to this becoming a permanent position. The care given to my mother has been second to none. The management and staff are so caring and professional in carrying out their duties that I couldn't have found a better solution to ensure the care and safety of my mother was nothing but the best. In just a short time I have noticed a remarkable change in my mother's mental health and general wellbeing and this is all due to the care she receives and the daily activities that ensure a healthy and varied daily routine. Having visited numerous other care homes to view before my mother's placement I am now absolutely certain Rose Court is without a doubt the best she could be in. I can only express my immense gratitude to everyone at Rose Court for their kindness and dedication.

Everyone is always helpful and happy to engage to do all that they can for her and it is obvious that this makes Mum very happy and she feels safe with her carers at Rose Court.

My mum is well cared for and we feel that the hard-working staff know her very well, which is very comforting, as they are so aware of her likes and dislikes which we feel makes her feel happier and more settled in her environment. We visit frequently and are always met with friendly staff, throughout the home, and team members and the Manager are always very happy to discuss how my mum is doing, which makes us feel more involved in her day-to-day life.

No duty of care whatsoever! My mum was a resident there from late 2023 until March 2024 and she suffered with slight dementia. She got physically abused by another male resident and the staff did nothing about it as 'they didn't see it'. My sister witnessed this man throwing tea on her and being abusive to another female resident but again, as the staff 'didn't see it' so nothing was done. Both times my mum was attacked by him she had to be taken to A&E. The staff really didn't care about her wellbeing at all. My mum suffered being abused and got a fractured wrist and a cut on her head while in Rose Court. On her last visit to A&E, after being pushed over by said man she ended up catching infections in hospital and unfortunately passed away in May 2024. We reported it to Rose Court, Mum's social workers and the council who after investigating decided to drop the case due to lack of evidence. I am sure she would have still been alive today if it wasn't for the above. Do not use this place.

I have visited many friends/relatives in Care homes; and this is the nicest by far. The colleagues are so caring, compassionate and are proactive. I love the fact that the food is freshly prepared each day.

My dad has been here for over a year now. So far he has enjoyed his stay. The staff have looked after him well. He always talks about how much he has increased his weight which is a good sign. He praises the staff all the time and also enjoys the type of food they give him.
