Rose Court

My late mother had the very best care possible at Rose Court for her final two years. She was so happy and content there. I found all the staff to be very warm, caring, and helpful to both residents and visitors. The excellent manager runs a tight, efficient team with many years of experience at Rose Court between them. During my mother's final hours, I met the night team for the first time who were also both compassionate and professional. I am deeply grateful to all the staff at Rose Court.

The staff take good care of my mum. We as a family are very happy with the home and care provided. Mum is safe and comfortable in her surroundings and the home always acts on any requests we have raised.

A weekly update from staff would be good informing a member of the family of what mum has and hasn’t done during the week with electronic photos on the iPads showing any activities mum’s been involved in during that week

Rose Court and staff have done a good job looking after my mother. She went into the home in February 2020 just before the pandemic hit and at that most difficult time, I cannot fault the care.

I have found Rose Court a wonderful place for my mum to get well. The staff are so friendly and seem to care so much for my mum. For me and my mum, we have both found peace of mind and we are both happy that she is here. I can't thank you enough.

This is a very good care home and we would highly recommend this to anyone wishing to move here. The staff are very friendly, professional and polite. Nothing is too much trouble. My mother-in-law really likes it here and enjoys her food too. Mum really enjoys the activities and loves to join in.

A very well organised visit under difficult circumstances. Every precaution was taken to protect the home and the people in it. I feel better now I have been to see my cousin and was reassured that she is in good hands. Thank you Rose Court staff.

The system for entry is really straightforward and clear. I feel safe going into the home and likewise, feel that my mam is also safe. Everyone is doing a great job and I’m so grateful that she has been in safe hands through this last year.

The carers, staff and management go out of their way to make sure our Aunts needs and health care are well catered for. During the lockdown, our Aunt had her 100th Birthday. The staff made a cake, there was balloons, bunting, music, also a card from the Queen. Including a chat via Zoom from the Mayor giving congratulations to her on her 100th Birthday. Not being able to visit due to lockdown, Rose Court has set up Whatapp for family's to see and talk to family members. Thank you all at Rose Court for the way you care for our Aunt and all residents.

My mother came to Rose Court in November. She settled very quickly into the home. Because of dementia, she lost her ability to speak English and only spoke in her native language. The staff coped very well with understanding mum. They treated mum with respect, care and love. Mum often lost her balance and after breaking her hip, the staff quickly adapted her care appropriately and her recovery was speedy. This place felt like a home away from home for mum and for the family. We cannot express how caring and loving all the staff are. We never doubted the level of care she was receiving. We visited every day and were always welcomed by the staff, often offering us the day’s delicious meals, which mum enjoyed.The staff made sure mum had her tablets and enough water to drink. Even after mum’s passing, of coronavirus in April, the care home threw her a birthday party, making cake and snacks for all the residents to celebrate her. Thank you everyone who cared for our mum at Rose Court.

Thank you for looking after my Aunty under difficult circumstances. It would be helpful if you could get an Ipad/Tablet so relatives can contact their loved ones.

Mum has now moved to another home within the Anchor Group.

My mother has lived in Rose Court for nearly 6 years. She has been treated with the best care and respect from all the staff. At times, it is very difficult for the staff I'm sure but never has any of the team been sharp with them. I have the utmost respect for all the staff and management.

My mother is being looked after very well. The home is very clean, the staff are always happy when you walk in.

Comfortable caring atmosphere and friendly staff.

I would state that Rose Court are taking concerns positively and improving the lives of their residents. My only observation and this seems to now be very common is that a particular resident can be verbally oppressive to the other resident's lots of swear words and staff should intervene but this does not happen.

I'm receiving excellent service.
