Job Summary
The Spinney Nursing Home are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Night Care Assistant to join our team. The ideal candidate will play a vital role in providing high-quality care to individuals in a home care setting or care home. You will be responsible for assisting residents with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and well-being, and supporting their independence. Strong communication skills in English are essential for effectively interacting with residents and their families.

Duties

• Assist residents with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Support residents with mobility and transfers, ensuring their safety at all times.
• Help with meal preparation and feeding as required, adhering to any specific dietary needs outlined in care plans.
• Maintain accurate records of residents care and report any changes in health or behaviour to the supervising staff.
• Engage residents in social activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being.
• Support residents to appointments or social outings as needed, ensuring they arrive safely.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to implement effective care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for residents, following all health and safety regulations.
