Sandringham Care Home is a beautiful, purpose-built care home in Bishop Auckland, County Durham, providing exceptional residential, nursing, dementia and respite care. Our 92-bed home has been thoughtfully designed to offer comfort, dignity and an outstanding quality of life for every resident.
We are looking for caring, compassionate and dedicated Day & Night Care Assistants to join our friendly team.

The Role
As a Care Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care while promoting dignity, independence and wellbeing for all residents.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Supporting residents with personal care in a respectful and dignified manner.
- Assisting residents with mobility and repositioning where required.
- Providing reassurance and emotional support.
- Responding promptly to residents' needs and call bells.
- Supporting residents with drinks, snacks and comfort.
- Carrying out regular wellbeing and safety checks.
- Maintaining accurate care records and reporting any concerns to the Senior Carer or Nurse on duty.
- Helping to maintain a clean, safe and welcoming environment for residents.

About You
We're looking for individuals who are kind, dependable and committed to delivering outstanding care.
You will have:
- Previous experience in a care setting is desirable but not essential, as full training can be provided for the right candidate.
- A caring, compassionate and respectful approach.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- The ability to remain calm and confident while working independently.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- A genuine passion for supporting older people.
