Thurlaston Meadows Care Home, located in the peaceful village of Thurlaston near Dunchurch, Rugby, is seeking an experienced Team Leader or a Senior Carer ready for the next step in their career. About the Role

As a Team Leader, you will provide leadership, guidance, and daily support to the care team, ensuring that every resident receives personalised care tailored to their individual needs. You will act as a role model, helping maintain high standards across the home while working hands?on alongside the care team.

Key Responsibilities

• Carry out regular staff supervisions and annual appraisals
• Manage daily staff allocation to ensure safe and effective coverage
• Formulate Health & Social Care Plans for new residents
• Complete monthly reviews for existing residents
• Support the development and delivery of resident activities
• Provide and receive accurate handovers
• Work directly on the floor, assisting residents and supporting the care team
• Report concerns, changes, or incidents promptly and professionally

Job Requirements

• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
• Excellent interpersonal and working relationship skills
• Confident, supportive leadership abilities
• Clear and effective communication skills
• Ability to work alternative weekends
