We are looking for a compassionate, reliable, and dedicated Night Support Worker to join our friendly team supporting adults with Autism, Learning Disabilities, and Complex Needs within a residential care setting.

The working week will be 3 waking nights, working 31.5 hours per week.

As a Night Support Worker, you will provide person-centred support throughout the night, ensuring the safety, comfort, and wellbeing of the individuals we support.

You will help create a calm and positive environment while carrying out a range of support and household duties.

Role Responsibilities:

• Providing high-quality person-centred care and support.
• Supporting individuals with personal care needs, where required.
• Promoting independence, choice, and dignity at all times.
• Undertaking regular welfare and safety checks throughout the night.
• Supporting individuals who may wake during the night and require reassurance or assistance.
• Maintaining accurate records and completing relevant documentation.
• Carrying out household duties, including: Cleaning and sanitising communal areas, laundry and ironing, tidying bedrooms and living areas as required and ensuring the home remains clean, safe, and welcoming.
• Following care plans, risk assessments, and company policies.
• Working effectively as part of a team and communicating any concerns to senior staff.

• Caring, patient, and understanding.
• Reliable and able to work independently during night shifts.
• Committed to providing excellent support to people with Autism and Learning Disabilities.
• Able to communicate effectively and work as part of a team
• Flexible, professional, and respectful of individual needs and preferences.

Experience:

• Previous experience working in care, support work, Autism, Learning Disabilities, or a related field is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
• A genuine passion for supporting vulnerable adults is essential.
