The Willows Care Home, Marton Moss, Blackpool is looking for a confident, caring and committed Senior Carer to join our team.

This is an opportunity to use your experience, lead a shift, develop your leadership skills and build your career within a supportive care environment.

?? THE ROLE

£14.15 – £14.50 per hour
Dependent on experience

35 hours per week – 5 shifts over 7 days

?? 8:00am – 3:00pm
?? 3:00pm – 10:00pm

Weekends are included within the rota, but weekend shifts are shared fairly and equally across the team.

?? The Willows Care Home, Marton Moss, Blackpool – FY4 5ED

?? A full driving licence is preferred due to the location, but not essential.

?? WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING

As a Senior Carer, you'll play an important role in the day-to-day running of the home.

You'll:

?? Lead your shift confidently, supporting and guiding the care team
?? Provide high-quality, person-centred care to our residents
?? Lead by example and be a positive role model
?? Support, guide and motivate colleagues
?? Ensure residents' dignity, privacy and individual needs are always respected
?? Ensure care plans and documentation are completed to a high standard
?? Communicate effectively with residents, families and colleagues
?? Work alongside the management team to help the home run smoothly
?? Help maintain a safe, caring and positive environment for everyone

?? WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

You will need:

?? Level 3 Health & Social Care qualification or equivalent
?? Previous experience in a senior care role
?? Experience and confidence in leading a shift
?? Excellent communication and teamwork skills
?? A caring, reliable and professional approach
?? The ability to support and lead other members of the care team
