Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant

We are looking for a Housekeeping/Laundry Assistant to join our supportive team on a full time (35 hours) contract.

Laundry shifts:- Early 7:00AM - 2:00PM, Late 1:00PM - 8:00PM

Cleaning:- 6:30AM - 1:30PM

Working alternate weekends

About the role:
As part of our housekeeping and laundry team, you’ll help make our home a warm, welcoming and comfortable place for our residents. You’ll:

• Keep living areas and residents’ rooms clean, safe and well-presented
• Handle laundry duties, including washing, drying and ironing residents’ clothing and household linen
• Work closely with colleagues to ensure high standards of cleanliness and infection control
• Contribute to the homely, supportive atmosphere our residents and families value so much

What we’re looking for:

• A positive and caring attitude
• Good attention to detail and a pride in high standards
• Flexibility to work different shifts when needed (covering leave and sickness)
• Experience in housekeeping/laundry is helpful but not essential — we provide full training
