my wife moved to Belvedere House in August 2024. We as a family are more than satisfied with the care & support my wife is getting, sadly as her Alzheimer's progresses the home has moved her to administed feeding, without any prompting from the family plus as a diabetic insulin dependent patient, the
nursing staff have been able to provide her with a blood sugar monitor which obviates the need for regular BS pin pricks, much less stress for my wife. Overall my wife is receiving support which in our opinion is amongst the best!

A brilliant Care Home. Recently totally refurbed throughout. My mother has been here since the beginning of February and she loves it. The staff are excellent in every department, and many have worked there for years rather than a few months, which was the common situation with her previous Care Home.
You can immediately sense the difference that this makes as soon as you step inside the place. All is calm. All is in order. And you could eat your dinner off the floor, it's so clean and fresh. The rooms are superb and all now come with flatscreen TVs and air-con as standard. They look more like hotel rooms.
Set in 14 acres of beautifully maintained grounds on the edge of Banstead. If you are seeking a Care Home for your loved one which ticks all the boxes, then look no further.
Cannot praise it highly enough.
Simply wonderful. And very affordable.

Dad was left without walker which was essential for his needs, fell and ended up in hospital with hypothermia, developed covid and pneumonia and then sadly died after 7 weeks, lack of basic care, how can your forget to give a walking aid ?? Care plan not fit for purpose, very few carers ever available,
promised the world and sadly let down very badly by this home, nothing can bring my dad back but it should never have happened... home investigating after a forced meeting.

Moved my relative from another home, as I was not happy with the level of care that she was receiving. After looking around at different homes, I was recommended Belvedere House. After my initial visit, and had a good look around, I made the decision to move my relative there. I wish I had done it sooner,
as everything from her professional and smooth admission, to her care to date has been exceptional, and cannot fault it in any way. I have always found the staff to be friendly, caring and nothing is too much. I would have no hesitation to recommend this home to anyone I know.

I'm not actually sure where to start with this review. We never could have dreamt of finding a care home as amazing as Belvedere House. It ticks every box and so many more. The staff are so kind and caring and make everyone feel special. There are daily activities, all designed with the aim of increasing
the quality of life of the residents. Whether it's memory games, sports (chair gymnastics, table tennis, skittles, keep the balloon up...), outings, music, animal therapy etc. The food is fantastic and plentiful and they grow many of their own vegetables. They celebrate every designated day; from the obvious ones like Pancake Day and St George's to the more random such as Hotdog Day, Pina Colada Day, any excuse for another celebration. Check out their social media page, you won't believe everything they do for our loved ones! Dad has been there for 9 months now and we can honestly say it has given him a new lease of life (at 94!). Without a doubt, the best decision we have ever made.

My husband stayed at Belvedere House for two weeks respite care, August 22nd - September 5th. We had three or four visits before his stay. At all times, we were treated with great kindness, patience and respect.
Sadly, he cannot remember his stay but I know he was very well cared for. He adjusted to
home life very easily on his return. We look forward to using Belvedere House again in the future.

Mum has been at this home for approximately five years. We have been very pleased with the care and facilities. My brothers and I feel like part of the staff as we are here nearly every day. Initially very happy with the care received by my father. Unfortunately, as my dad's care needs increased, the gaps in the knowledge experience and competence of the nurse manager, deputy nurse manager and some of the nurses became obvious. Space in this review does not allow detailed explanation but
some of the areas we had concerns with were:
Lack of Leadership, inability to deal with concerns when raised, lack of knowledge of individual residents' needs, lack of knowledge on dementia care - particularly in relation to hydration needs and stimulation. End-of-life care (nothing written in the End-of-life care plan). No support from the Nurse Manager or Deputy to get Dad home to die as per his wishes (in fact we were reported to social services without our knowledge for trying to arrange for him to come home),
Nursing Team are letting the rest of the home down. The care staff are lovely and the housekeeping and catering team are enthusiastic and professional.

I think the staff are amazing but I do think they could do with a couple of extra. I witnessed a lady sitting on her own who hadn't even started her food. I think it would be lovely if they sat down with the residents and helped feed some of the residents and themselves.

Belvedere House is a wonderful nursing home set in gorgeous grounds. The individual rooms and communal areas are truly amazing, they could not be bettered in any way.

Our mother was cared for at Belvedere House. The care, kindness and support she received was excellent.
Her spacious room with the view of the courtyard garden meant she was able to see outside which has provided great comfort to her as her mobility declined.
Everyone on the team from our initial
introduction with two members of staff through to housekeeping and the exceptional care and nursing team was warm, professional and supportive in responding to her needs with the utmost compassion and respect. We cannot thank you all enough for being there for our mum and our family when we needed it most.

My mother has been at Belvedere House for four weeks and I am so happy with how she has settled. Her admission was calm and superbly organised and she was so pleased with her lovely room. Every member of the impressive staff was so kind and as a family, we truly appreciated the thought and effort that
went into making my mother feel at home and valued. She is profoundly deaf and her hearing aids are her access to the world. The nurses and carers understand this and have made great efforts to ensure that they are charged and applied daily. The positive impact this has had on my mother's mental health is immeasurable. She is allowed to rest in her room when she wishes and is regularly checked by staff who know her well and understand her needs. She loves the view from her window and the beautifully maintained grounds are a source of real pleasure to her during our outdoor walks. As a family, we are extremely happy with every aspect of my mother's care at Belvedere House.

Difficult to know where to start - I have only visited two care homes on a regular basis, so I can't be described as experienced - but if I wanted to see out the rest of my life anywhere, it would be here - not just because of the view, the design, facilities or utter cleanliness of the place, but
because of the individuals working there that make the difference (and make it their business to make a difference). The attention my mother receives is heart-warming but the level of care is amazing. This is not a place where people go to hide but where they go to thrive, within the limitations of their own physical and mental constraints. Staff are willing to do things out-of-the-ordinary to make a difference, perhaps with an event or to limit the discomfort of attending old-age but doing what they can in-house before resorting to NHS support. They do and will call at any time because they know, as carers, that you care at least as much as they do and no time is too late or inconvenient.

I visit weekly. The standard of care and the quality of the rooms are excellent. Staff are genuinely caring and always make a point of approaching me to tell me how Mum has been over the last week. They clearly know her well which is very reassuring. There is a good range of activities and the 'keep
fit' sessions are particularly helpful and fun for my mum (and I'd encourage more of the keep fit ones if possible as they are so beneficial). I'd also like to praise the food which seems to me to be always of a very high standard - delicious and nutritious. Mum very much enjoys her meals.

The end-of-life care she received was outstanding, sensitive, professional, and loving and we as a family could not be more grateful and appreciative. Over the last two years, she was always

My mother was admitted to Belvedere House for respite care across July and August this year. I cannot praise the Management, all the staff and the Home enough for the care, professional support and welcome that they provided to Mum. Having briefly looked at other homes, Belvedere House stood out amongst
its peers. The Care Manager and Deputy were patient, thoughtful and so understanding of Mum's requirements and the whole admission process was made so smooth from the Admin Team to the Carers and Housekeeping Team- 5 stars. She is regularly checked on in her en-suite room, finding that balance of support whilst not constantly disturbing, encouraged to partake in the variety of activities being run daily, again without pressure if she doesn't quite feel up to it. The variety of excellent meals, 3 times per day is superb with the Kitchen team always aware of Mum's allergies. I can honestly say there can be nowhere better to be cared for and supported - Thank you all for your support.

Excellent care and attention to detail. The staff are always friendly and helpful.
Room is very well appointed but I understand the patient will be moving to a better one when work is completed. The cleaners are very thorough. His special diet is well prepared and served to him in his room.
