I have been fortunate enough to visit Belvedere House many times over the last year visiting a very dear friend who lives there to take her out for lunch and to visit a local supermarket.
I must say that my friend has been extremely well looked after. Every staff member from housekeeping right through
to the nurses are always welcoming and cheerful. The nursing home is always spotless and cosy and the rooms are well equipped and modern and light with en-suite facilities. My friend is always beautifully turned out and has her washing returned the same day that it is sent to the laundry. On occasions, when she has been unwell she is accompanied to hospital with a carer who stays with her throughout.
I can’t fault it at all and bless each and every one of you for looking after my friend as if she was one of your own.

Care provided for my brother is excellent and have not found any other establishment that meets Belvedere House's standards.
They provide excellent activities and entertainment for all residents, relatives and tenants.

My father had been in a retirement flat with carers 4 times a day. When he arrived the staff were so caring and understanding and tolerant of his temper as he adjusted. They have gone so far out of their way to provide things for my father - that made his stay feel like home - always with a smile on
their faces and a very caring attitude. Thank you so much - my father now looks better and healthier than in the last 4 years!

Our mother was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and despite reservations, the decision was made that she could no longer be cared for by us her family. We looked at and reviewed several care homes and decided that we liked the general welcome and feel of Belvidere House.


We have never looked back we are

so impressed with the care, kindness and support she receives, I could not praise the staff enough. They are all excellent. My mother always says how well she is treated and praises the management saying they especially pick their staff.


We can go in whenever we want and we do, we are always welcomed, and feel that we can speak to the staff. Mum enjoys the activities provided she goes out to lovely places. The food is good, and the whole place is spotless.


I would never have worried if I had known places like this existed. And am always happy to leave mum without worrying.

Belvedere House excels in all aspects of care. The staff are extremely friendly and professional. The facility is located in beautiful grounds in the Surrey countryside. I couldn’t wish for my mother to be in a better care home.

Belvedere House has a warm and welcoming approach and sits in lovely, well-kept grounds. The staff are always very friendly, caring and professional to both residents and visitors. Dad has been in there for 3 years now and is very happy and content. He regularly joins in the many activities which are
arranged daily and are always well attended and enjoyed. We feel very lucky that Dad was able to get into Belvedere House and would have no hesitation in recommending them. They run an amazing home.

I was very impressed the first time I visited Belvedere House. Lovely building, friendly approachable staff and a lovely atmosphere. The residents looked cared for and happy and were well looked after. My Mother just goes from strength to strength and as she has dementia is in a safe, secure environment.
All the staff are amazing and really care about their residents. Mums room is spacious, clean and inviting and the activities, that are daily, are varied and really engage the residents.

My father who is ex-navy, is extremely happy at Belvedere House. It looks like a cross between a 'navy club and a cruise ship' according to him. My family loves visiting him there knowing he is safe and very well cared for. The staff are all lovely, cheerful, and caring of my father and of us. I think
it is very important for those with dementia and Alzheimer's that as they regress, they have places and events in common with the other residents around them. It is such a shame that his sister is unable to join him there. We are so pleased a room was available when we needed it most. Thanks to all of you for your excellent care.

Belvedere House is always a welcoming environment to any visitor or relative staying there. Without exception all the staff are equally as welcoming and supportive of both the resident and their family. There are always a lot of activities planned and where possible all residents are encouraged to
participate. Special national events are well recognised and supported and there is always some sponsoring opportunities being promoted that support people in need. A totally lovely place.

The staff and the whole situation at Belvedere House is excellent, my father has been treated with great care and respect. He can be very demanding but appears to have settled down well now. Unfortunately he is very reluctant to join in any activities and I would ask staff if there is anything that
can be done to facilitate this.

Belvedere House is a most welcoming place. It enjoys an atmosphere of friendliness akin to a family home. The staff are always welcoming and show enormous commitment. The building and grounds are well looked after which add significantly to the overall experience of being a resident.
It is a place
of kindness and of caring. My only comment would be that some rooms are quite small. En suite rooms would add to the living experience and convenience.

Alice Mitroi

Job Title: Registered Home Manager Joined: 2017

Alice Mitroi is the Registered Home Manager, having joined as a staff nurse in 2017.


She graduated from the University of Bucharest in 2015 with a Master’s degree in Health and Social Care to accompany her baccalaureate in General Nursing. She has worked in the care industry since the age of 19 and has worked her way up to hold a managerial position.


Alongside these qualifications, she has a diploma in dementia care and brings this experience and knowledge to the care of residents in the dedicated dementia wing.
