Cook/ Chef

We are a family run business, established in 1985. We provide  care to the elderly. We are looking for a friendly person to join our team of staff in a 54 bedded care home.
To work 3 days a week on a rolling rota, 7am - 6.30pm. Must work alternate weekends.
To take responsibility for the smooth running of all catering provision. To prepare, cook and serve meals, as appropriate.
To provide special diets and prepare TMF diets, where necessary, as well as taking into account the preferences of individual residents.
To assist in the planning of interesting menus providing a balanced nutritious diet, making the best use of fresh foods, as available.
Regulate food temperature and record accurate readings in line with environmental health.
To maintain statutory Health & Safety and Environmental Health standards in kitchen and food delivery areas.
Xmas Day - Double time.
Boxing Day - Time an a Half.
Any other Bank Holiday - Time and a Quarter.
Unpaid Breaks.
