Clinical Care Lead (Full-time)

£27.00 plus excellent benefits (including training and career development opportunities, staff welfare and support and heritage working environment)

We’re seeking a Clinical Care Lead for one our homes, who will ensure that our residents and those who care for them can flourish. In this vital role, you will be at the forefront of driving a culture of excellence and fostering an environment for your lead area where our staff feel valued, supported, and engaged. You’ll work collaboratively with the home leadership team to meet compliance on all regulatory and mandated matters including Care Quality Commission (CQC), mental capacity act and safeguarding. Main duties of the role:

  • Collaborate with the home leadership team to ensure the Home operates efficiently and compassionately, fostering a safe, happy, and secure environment for residents.
  • Assist residents with their personal care and advise on health needs, liaising with statutory community health providers as required.
  • Support a robust admissions process, assessing the needs of prospective nursing residents coordinating with visitors and external professionals.
  • Develop and maintain effective care plans, conducting regular reviews to ensure documentation complies with organisational procedures.
  • Oversee medication management, including dispensing, record-keeping, monthly reordering, and monitoring administration for assigned residents.
  • Liaise with the People team to ensure the effective management of colleague in your home in line with the policies and culture of Elizabeth Finn Homes through the whole employee and volunteering lifecycle.
  • Promote resident engagement and independence by providing stimulation, encouragement, and support within a safe and positive environment
  • Manage rotas for your lead area to maintain safe staffing levels while meeting budget requirements.
  • Support the investigation of complaints with the other home leadership team and ensure compliance for reporting requirements.
  • Complete administrative tasks, including audits, in accordance with organisational procedures.
  • To work within the NMC’s Code of Professional Conduct and Scope of Practice alongside ensuring all Registered Nurses within the home also meet requirements.
