Senior Care Assistant

Dungate Manor Care Home are looking for a Full Time Senior Healthcare Assistant for day shifts to join our team and provide quality care to our residents.

Duties include:

• Assisting to run a shift and being in charge of care assistants on shift.
• Provide personal care and support to elderly individuals in a compassionate and respectful manner
• Assist with daily living activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Administer medications according to prescribed schedules.
• Monitor and record vital signs, such as blood pressure and temperature
• Assist with mobility and transfers, using correct lifting techniques and assistive devices
• Engage in meaningful conversations and provide companionship to promote emotional well-being
• Communicate effectively with residents, their families, other staff members and healthcare professionals
