Job Description:

We are currently recruiting a Cook to join our incredible team at Estuary View, working part time with flexibility to support our other home Croft Lodge in emergencies.

Estuary View is a 36 bedroom Care Home with beautiful gardens and an internal courtyard sensory garden.

Hours: 35 Hours, 8am-6pm

Our residents have various dietary requirements, so knowledge and experience in cooking for people with special diets is incredibly important.

Salary: £13.35 weekdays, £13.85 weekends.

Cook Duties include:

• Preparing Breakfast, Lunches, Tea & Supper
• Cleaning the kitchen & keeping work areas tidy
• Managing stock rotation
• Supporting with food orders
• Interacting with residents to ensure they are eating nutritious and appetising food
• It is advantageous to have training & certificates in Basic Food Hygiene.
• It is advantageous to have previous experience as a Catering Assistant or Kitchen Porter.
