  • £12.76 per hour
  • Day shifts: 8:00am – 8:00pm (33 hours per week)
  • Night shifts: 8:00pm – 8:00am (44 hours per week)
  • Full-time contracts available on both days and nights, depending on your preference

Located in Wavertree, Oak Springs is a modern, purpose-built care home providing residential, dementia and short-stay care in a luxurious and welcoming setting. Home to 74 residents, our service is designed to encourage independence, wellbeing and social connection, with outstanding facilities and a vibrant programme of activities.

What You'll Be Doing

As a healthcare assistant, you'll play an important role in supporting residents to live comfortably, confidently and with dignity.

Your duties will include:

  • Supporting residents with personal care and daily living tasks
  • Assisting with eating, drinking and maintaining good nutrition
  • Providing companionship, reassurance and emotional support
  • Encouraging participation in activities, hobbies and social events
  • Promoting independence wherever possible
  • Monitoring resident wellbeing and reporting any concerns
  • Maintaining accurate records and following care plans
  • Working closely with colleagues to deliver exceptional standards of care
  • Contributing to a safe, clean and welcoming environment

You'll ideally have:

  • A kind, respectful and compassionate approach
  • A genuine desire to support older people
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Reliability and a positive team-focused attitude
  • Previous care experience (preferred but not essential)
  • Flexibility and a willingness to learn and develop
