Hours: 45 hours per week |14 hours per week (weekends)

Salary: £14.00 per hour

About Us

Plane Tree Court Nursing Home is a warm, resident-centred nursing home dedicated to delivering excellent standards of care, comfort, and hospitality. We are now seeking an experienced receptionist to contribute to the warm and welcoming environment within the home and represent the home as the first face our families see when they come into the home.

Role Overview:

As our Receptionist, you will be the first point of contact for visitors, residents, relatives, and external professionals. You will play an important role in creating a positive and welcoming environment while supporting the smooth running of the home’s administration.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet and welcome visitors, residents, and relatives in a friendly and professional manner
• Answer and direct phone calls and emails promptly
• Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries
• Maintain visitor logs and ensure sign-in procedures are followed
• Support the management team with administrative tasks
• Assist with maintaining staff and resident records
• Order office supplies and support general office organisation
• Help coordinate meetings and appointments
• Ensure reception and waiting areas are tidy and welcoming

We are looking for:

·  Highly organised with good attention to detail

·  Confident using Microsoft Office and email systems

·  Able to multitask and prioritise workload

·  A strong communicator with excellent customer service skills

·  Reliable and able to maintain confidentiality

·  Previous receptionist, front-of-house, or admin experience

·  Experience in a care home, healthcare, or customer-facing environment (preferred but not essential)
