Plane Tree Court is a pleasant welcoming place. On arrival every member of staff you see look happy and smile and greet you. The staff always respond to any requests we have and are quick to help. They look after my father with dignity and care. Nothing seems too much for them, to make him comfortable and also see to his physical care needs and his nursing care needs. The home is always clean whatever time of day we go. The staff seem to work well with each other. The residents are always clean and seem content,

Mum has lived at Plane Tree Court for over four years, and during that time she has truly thrived thanks to the wonderful care provided by the nursing staff and carers. She is happy, always clean, and very well cared for, both physically and emotionally. Plane Tree Court is a clean, welcoming, and cheerful environment, with varied and plentiful food and drink, and the on-site kitchen staff are very accommodating. The gardens are well maintained and the daily activities programme is fantastic, offering plenty of variety and fun, and Mum has made many friends there. The managers are always available, nothing is too much trouble, and the open visiting times are very helpful for family members who work. We could not have found a better place for Mum.

Our experience was extremely positive. Every member of the team, including the manager, showed genuine compassion, kindness, and friendliness, which gave us great peace of mind.
We would have no hesitation in recommending Plane Tree Court to others, and it would certainly be our first choice for any future respite care.

From the greeting when you arrive, to the early access to see the activity chart, the weekly menu and all the staff knowing the residents' names. Visiting was easy with virtually no restrictions. Kindness, empathy, care, both for our dad and the family. Comfort, cleanliness, plus attention when required. Nursing of the highest quality, dignity honoured at all times. Dad couldn't join in the many and varied activities but they were available. Thank you Plane Tree Court.

Management, Supervisors, Carers, Activities, Chef, Cleaning Team and Laundry have all provided the most excellent care for my sister over the last year. The feel good factor at Plane Tree is extraordinary. All staff are polite, pleasant and cheerful. The doctor reviews medical concerns regularly and visits to hospital including ambulance transport are arranged without delay. My sister's health has improved and stabilised and her demeanour and confidence is much more positive. She is happy and secure at Plane Tree.

My father has recently arrived at Plane Tree and I cannot praise the staff and home enough. Dad kept having falls and we were constantly on edge, but now we are much at ease knowing he is looked after so well.

A lovely friendly home. Lovely staff, very patient with my sister in law. She has been a resident for nearly 3 years and on the whole she has been very happy. She ennjoys the activities with Amberly most days. There is always something new to enjoy. My sister in law eats very well and emjoys all the food they cater for her needs very well.
I have been very pleased with the care that my sister including receives, she is very well looked after ,the staff are very pleasent and professional in every thing they do, she receives medical checks weekly and also constant monitoring they make sure that medication is administered daily , she has been in the care home for years and in that time has become wheel chair bound but gone down to recreation everyday, I feel that i would like to give a mention to Amberley who is excellent in keeping everybody entertained . She has 3 meals a day including puddings and rarely leaves anything ,overall I have nothing but good things to say about the home , keep up the good work

My partner has many challenging symptoms. He has already been in 5 different care homes. Most couldn't cope with him. He's been at Plane Tree Court for nearly 2 years now and the staff couldn't be kinder or more respectful to him. Well done Plane Tree. Gill.

Your comments about the dedication shown by everyone from management and reception to carers, nurses, and housekeeping mean a great deal to us. We're grateful for your recommendation and remain committed to providing the highest standard of care.
Mum was welcomed to her own room, with en-suite facilities, by staff who had taken care of her during previous respite stays - as well as being introduced to new staff. Mum's care plan was reviewed by her social worker and myself with the assistant manager, nursing and care staff and her individual needs are being monitored.
All of the staff are so friendly, caring and sociable, despite all the hard work they have to do, and we know mum is being looked after. She particularly enjoys the cooked breakfast, along with the other food made on site by the excellent kitchen staff, and being taken down to the activity room (on the days when she is up to it) to take part in the sessions run on site.
We could not be happier knowing mum is safe and well cared for!
Thank you for your thoughtful feedback. We are very pleased to hear that the move to permanent residency went smoothly and that the team helped your mum feel settled and supported. It's great to know she is enjoying the meals, her room, and the activities when she is able to take part. Your...
My husband is currently residing in Plane Tree Court. The staff work very hard to provide a high standard of care. He is nursed in bed and needs full care including feeding, incontinence and catheter care. He enjoys his food which is pureed. He doesn't feel rushed as the staff are patient and kind. His bedroom is quite dark and he cannot see out of the window. The family have asked that he can change to a more suitable room when available. Overall we are very happy with his care.
Thank you so much for taking the time to share your kind feedback. We're delighted to hear that your husband is being well cared for and that our team's patience and compassion are making a positive difference to his comfort. We appreciate your comments about his room, and we will certainly keep...
For the first time in 57 years, my husband and I were separated. He was taken to hospital by ambulance on advice of carers. He had developed dementia and Alzheimer's, which had become very bad - and the situation had become dangerous. I was taken to Plane Tree Court by one of my sons. The staff were really lovely to me, I was fed good food every day. So kind and caring. Everything was spotlessly clean (no nasty smells). It felt as if I really mattered. I slept well, in comfort and cleanliness.
Thank you, Kathleen, for sharing such a heartfelt review. It means so much to know that you felt cared for, safe, and valued by our team. Your kind words about our staff, environment, and food are deeply appreciated. We wish you and your husband all the very best, and Planetree staff are here whenever you need us.

My friend has been in this care home for six months and sadly passed away there in January of 2026. Her care from her entering has been excellent and every single member of staff has shown kindness and care right up until the day she passed. The nursing staff, the cleaning staff and the chef have been amazing and always treated my friend and her friends and family with compassion and respect. A truly great home.

I had read the reviews and I will add this
The staff are absolutely amazing, they are all professional, kind and caring. It is clear they are all well suited to their roles, and this has made us as a family so comfortable knowing that my dad is being well cared for
The rooms all seem of a very good standard, with good recreational areas for residents to move to as and when they choose.
The building is well laid out and set within lovely well kept grounds, which in summer months will be great for a trip round the gardens for him.
Thanks to all the staff, Gigi the manager and Tony the assistant manager , who has a great understanding of patients needs.
I would without hesitation recommended Plane Tree
