My mum spent six months living at Plane Tree Court, until she sadly died. All the staff provided amazing care, kindness and friendship towards my mum. They helped my mum with such warmth, compassion and humanity, both physically and emotionally, at a time when these traits were needed. Thank you.

My friend has been in this care home for six months and sadly passed away there in January of 2026. Her care from her entering has been excellent and every single member of staff has shown kindness and care right up until the day she passed. The nursing staff, the cleaning staff and the chef have
been amazing and always treated my friend and her friends and family with compassion and respect. A truly great home.

When my mum first arrived, we were so Scared & anxious but your team's professionalism and kindness immediately put us at ease.
I've seen firsthand the way you treat every resident with dignity. Whether it was day or night,
any time , You went above and beyond to ensure our mum felt safe and cared for. Your hard work doesn't go unnoticed-it has given our family a sense of peace that we truly needed. Thank you for treating my mum not just as a resident, but like family."
Words cannot fully express our gratitude for the care you gave our mother. This journey has been heartbreaking but your unwavering support made a world of difference.
You provided more than just medical care; you provided humanity & amazing Care to our Beautiful mum, holding her hand, just being there.

My Dad arrived at Plane Tree Court via 7 weeks in hospital, and is receiving nursing care. We had viewed Plane Tree amongst others, prior to his move and wanted him to come here.
I had read the reviews and I will add this
The staff are absolutely amazing, they are all professional, kind and
caring. It is clear they are all well suited to their roles, and this has made us as a family so comfortable knowing that my dad is being well cared for
The rooms all seem of a very good standard, with good recreational areas for residents to move to as and when they choose.
The building is well laid out and set within lovely well kept grounds, which in summer months will be great for a trip round the gardens for him.
Thanks to all the staff, Gigi the manager and Tony the assistant manager , who has a great understanding of patients needs.
I would without hesitation recommended Plane Tree

Plane Tree Court is a place of safety, unwavering care and the best place for my 100-year-old mother. The staff are endlessly caring and supportive. It is always clean. The staff from the bottom to the top are 100% committed to their roles. I can't thank them enough for their care. I highly
recommend Plane Tree Court for the care of a loved one. Thank you all.

Only visited the home once as away on holiday - hence the respite care for my mother. Overall everything seemed good and I would certainly use the home again.

I have found the staff to be friendly and caring. The home was recommended by the hospital as being best suited to the resident's needs and so for most parts that has been the case. However as a private care home I would expect a higher level of attention to the state of her room. The carpet and the
bedding are 'tired'. I am pleased with the nursing care received and the fact that the manager has a detailed knowledge of the resident and her needs. The resident feels safe and cared for and the family are confident that she is secure and well supported.

I am the son in law of a resident who celebrated 100 years and plane tree court were supportive to use their activity room so family and friends could share the happy occasion. Management and catering staff provided excellent service and family coming from Japan and Australia and UK it was a lovely
occasion for 3 hours on Saturday 30 August her 100 years well done Plane Tree for your care of my mother-in-law over the last 2 years,! All our family believe my mother-in-law could not have been placed in a better care home!

Mum had 10 days respite in Plane Tree Court earlier in the summer and was very comfortable.
Now mum has moved in as a permanent resident.
It's been a difficult time for us as a family making the decision but it's definitely been worth it. Mum is definitely benefiting from being in Plane Tree I
think her interaction with staff and residents is giving her confidence.
The staff are wonderful from the head chef to every care giver.
The room is lovely and the whole home is very clean and fresh.
More than anything though the atmosphere is warm and friendly.
Everyone is treated with dignity. The care and support is equal from staff and management. The food is good mum is eating more and taking fluids more often than usual.
Thanks so much to all the staff at Plane Tree.

Plane Tree Manor the building and rooms are quite dated but I can see work is being done, I had my reservations at first, but the staff, the chef, everyone that works there are so friendly and so kind to all the residents, to me that was the most important thing. My dads care and his environment,
they looked after my dads needs so well even cooking food he enjoyed with being Chinese, chef did a great job. Lovely staff always a smile although a difficult job - well done to all.

My husband has only been there for a few weeks so I'm still getting used to the situation. So far it has been positive. The staff are caring and friendly and are very hard working.

My great aunt stayed for respite care and thoroughly enjoyed her stay- so much so, she didn't wish to leave. The staff have been amazing with her and she's always been treated with kindness, care and respect. She's enjoyed keeping busy with daily activities and socialising with the other residents.

Place Tree Court are providing excellent care for my father. All staff including receptionist, chef, cleaner are faultless. They provide everything my father and his family need- nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend. Nursing staff fully understand my father's needs and keep us
informed of everything on every visit. Any questions we have are always answered quickly.

Just to say that Plane Tree Court has looked after my disabled sister for over 2 years and the care she has received is second to none , the staff are very attentive and look after her every need they are friendly and helpful in everything they do and I cant praise them enough she eats 3 meals a day
including puddings and very rarely leaves anything . So keep up the good work folks !

I feel very fortunate that my mother is being so well cared for at Plane Tree. The staff are outstanding and offer a high level of care, nothing is too much trouble. My mum's room is always kept clean as are all the communal areas. Visiting at any time of the day or evening is never a problem, all
the staff are friendly, kind and welcoming. It is very difficult when a parent must go into a home, but I can honestly say all my fears have come to nothing thanks to the highly professional care and attention my mum is receiving.

My parents due to ill health have been at PTC since November. I am so full of respect and am so grateful to all the staff, they make both my parents and my brother and I feel so welcome and have always got time to tell us all about our parents day. Management always try to accommodate any
requirements or suggestions we may have. It's such a relief to know that our parents are cared for so well and made such a fuss of by all staff. There are many planned group activities to keep everyone occupied which could be musical or creative, a breakfast club 3 times a week. Residents can make appointments with a hairdresser, podiatrist etc. and visitors are always welcome. I definately feel my parents are in a safe, clean, cared for environment which gives peace of mind knowing that when we have visited them they are left in safe hands. Thanks to each and every one of you for all your continuing care.

Residents are not allowed to mix/mingle with each other, unless they are put in the downstairs communal room. Food is poor quality and cheap, very small portions. My mum has lost lots of weight whilst being in there. Prisoners get treated better. Lack of activities, rooms are too hot, so residents
go to sleep no matter what time of day it is. I had to request a chiropodist, as her feet were in a bad way. No one at the home noticed. The care is appalling.

All of the staff showed great kindness and professionalism to my husband during his final days. The staff took great care to ensure his needs were met and took care to keep us informed so we could be with him. He was in a comfortable caring home.

My dad has been with your nursing home for 4 years now and we are comforted that he is so well looked after. Whenever I walk in the staff always have a lovely welcome and we know that he is in very safe hands every day. The carers, nursing team, chefs and everyone who keeps the place running are
