View Full Details of Plane Tree CourtMy husband has only been in Plane Tree Court for a month but the staff and all care has been excellent.
My husband has only been there for a few weeks so I'm still getting used to the situation. So far it has been positive. The staff are caring and friendly and are very hard working.
My great aunt stayed for respite care and thoroughly enjoyed her stay- so much so, she didn't wish to leave. The staff have been amazing with her and she's always been treated with kindness, care and respect. She's enjoyed keeping busy with daily activities and socialising with the other residents. Thank you to all at Plane Tree!!
Place Tree Court are providing excellent care for my father. All staff including receptionist, chef, cleaner are faultless. They provide everything my father and his family need- nothing is too much trouble. Would highly recommend. Nursing staff fully understand my father's needs and keep us informed of everything on every visit. Any questions we have are always answered quickly.
Just to say that Plane Tree Court has looked after my disabled sister for over 2 years and the care she has received is second to none , the staff are very attentive and look after her every need they are friendly and helpful in everything they do and I cant praise them enough she eats 3 meals a day including puddings and very rarely leaves anything . So keep up the good work folks !
I feel very fortunate that my mother is being so well cared for at Plane Tree. The staff are outstanding and offer a high level of care, nothing is too much trouble. My mum's room is always kept clean as are all the communal areas. Visiting at any time of the day or evening is never a problem, all the staff are friendly, kind and welcoming. It is very difficult when a parent must go into a home, but I can honestly say all my fears have come to nothing thanks to the highly professional care and attention my mum is receiving.
My parents due to ill health have been at PTC since November. I am so full of respect and am so grateful to all the staff, they make both my parents and my brother and I feel so welcome and have always got time to tell us all about our parents day. Management always try to accommodate any requirements or suggestions we may have. It's such a relief to know that our parents are cared for so well and made such a fuss of by all staff. There are many planned group activities to keep everyone occupied which could be musical or creative, a breakfast club 3 times a week. Residents can make appointments with a hairdresser, podiatrist etc. and visitors are always welcome. I definately feel my parents are in a safe, clean, cared for environment which gives peace of mind knowing that when we have visited them they are left in safe hands. Thanks to each and every one of you for all your continuing care.
Residents are not allowed to mix/mingle with each other, unless they are put in the downstairs communal room. Food is poor quality and cheap, very small portions. My mum has lost lots of weight whilst being in there. Prisoners get treated better. Lack of activities, rooms are too hot, so residents go to sleep no matter what time of day it is. I had to request a chiropodist, as her feet were in a bad way. No one at the home noticed. The care is appalling.
All of the staff showed great kindness and professionalism to my husband during his final days. The staff took great care to ensure his needs were met and took care to keep us informed so we could be with him. He was in a comfortable caring home.
My dad has been with your nursing home for 4 years now and we are comforted that he is so well looked after. Whenever I walk in the staff always have a lovely welcome and we know that he is in very safe hands every day. The carers, nursing team, chefs and everyone who keeps the place running are fantastic. Thanks for everything you do for my dad.
My husband has just had his fourth year living in Plane Tree Nursing Home. He has had many health challenges superbly navigated by wonderful staff at all levels. I am also so very grateful for their support and understanding of how having a relative in care affects close relatives.
My brother has been at Plane Tree Court for seven years. I can only express my admiration for all the staff who look after him. From the nursing staff to the chef nothing is too much trouble. It's reassuring to know he is in such kind and capable hands. His care has been outstanding!
Mum has been to Plane Tree Court on 4 occasions this year to allow my 82 year old father respite from his carer responsibilities. She has been welcomed back on each occasion and remembered fondly by many of the staff. They remember her likes and dislikes and ensure her needs are met. We are hoping to arrange further sessions over the coming year.
Management and staff welcoming, friendly, pleasant and respectful whatever time we visited. So impressed by the cleanliness of the home including frequent fresh bedding. Dad always looked and smelt clean and comfortable. All the staff looked after us and supported us so kindly during Dad's final days. They were always willing to give generously their time to talk to us. Nothing was too much for anyone. We were incredibly touched when all the staff stepped outside to see Dad off on his final journey. I highly recommend this excellent care home.
Very nice care home. Residents well looked after. Very happy with the way they look after my dad.
A well-staffed, clean, well-maintained care home. My mother has thrived with good care and food. Her room is light and airy. There is a nurse on duty 24 hours. The staff are very caring and friendly. The chef cooks excellent, nutritious meals. The receptionist is very welcoming and helpful. I am very happy with the care my nearly 99-year-old mother gets at Plane Tree Court.
Mum has been in Plane Tree Court for around 12 months. She can be difficult, demanding and high-maintenance. The staff have always provided an excellent level of care and support. I feel the staff could provide more encouragement to get her involved in more activities. Budgets are likely to be tight and if it is a choice of funds being spent on care or building maintenance and repairs then care should be a priority. Poor building appearance can give a bad impression of the home.
Mum is very happy at Plane Tree Court. Enjoys the food which is cooked on the premises. Always looks clean and presentable. Regular visits from the hairdresser and chiropodist. Entertained by regular activities. All the staff whether it's a cleaner or carer use Mum's name and always talk to her visitors. Not found any fault and have recommended it to a friend.
Very pleased with the professional care our brother is receiving. He seems to have settled in very well. The staff are very attentive. He says the meals are good and complains there is too much. We are very satisfied with the way this home is run.
Mum has both Parkinson's and dementia and is unable to walk. Every day, staff wash, dress and encourage Mum to be taken to the activities room to join other residents for a chat, simple games, quizzes and the like, and whilst the activities themselves seem somewhat simplistic, in Mum's case, they seem to be doing both her dementia and general well-being a world of good. Indeed, she has made quite a few friends and she never seems to be without a cup of tea! Staff are numerous and friendly, attentive and treat everyone with respect and dignity and every week, a hairdresser does Mum's hair. All in all, Mum is happy and well cared for and that is all one can ask.
