My uncle currently lives at Plane Tree and has done for some time now. He is always well cared for and his changing needs are respected and catered for. It's great that it's possible to visit at any time and the staff are friendly, caring and very helpful.
Thank you for your feedback. We appreciate your feedback, and I will share it with the wider team. Every token of appreciation boosts our staff morale and makes improvements wherever needed.
Kind Regards
Jiji
We are really happy with the care given to our mum at Plane Tree Court. Her room always looks clean and she looks really well and content.
The staff were so lovely at the funeral too, we left from the home and they escorted the hearse and lined the street as we went on towards the service, very touching and moving.
Thanks to all the team
My neighbour is in Plane Tree Court and is very well looked after. The cares and the other staff that I have met seem to genuinely care and always make time to chat and update me on my friend's care when I visit. I would recommend Plane Tree Court.
Thank you very much for your kind words. Your feedback is very important for the team at Plane Tree Court.

In 2021, my 93-year-old mother's health and capacity deteriorated rapidly at home and the family were under intense pressure to make sure her health and well being were managed effectively. Thankfully Plane Tree Court accepted my mother and put the family at ease. Indeed the Management at Plane Tree Court even proactively contacted the family to set up her speedy admission, walking us through the process and immediately making mum as comfortable as possible.
Mum received her end of life care at Plane Tree Court where the team could not have done more during this period to manage mum's condition - it was very humbling to see the levels of professional care and compassion at this time. Nothing was too much trouble for the team, it's difficult to think what we would have done without them.
I have just come off a six-week placement here at Plane Tree Court as part of my training as a student nurse. Plane Tree Court was very welcoming and made me feel like part of the team. I am very fortunate to have been able to experience part of my training here as it opened up my experiences in certain areas. The care was excellent from what I have seen and being part of delivering the care was very humbling. I can definitely say from what I have seen that all patients are at the heart of each and every staff member.
Kind Regards
Mum has been a permanent resident at Plane Tree Court for nearly twelve months and is being well looked after by their caring staff. My family and I would like to say a huge thank you to the deputy manager for suggesting we may wish to celebrate mum’s 95th birthday with mum at the home. The activities coordinator decorated the area/tables, gave up her time on a day she doesn’t normally work and made us all feel welcome. The chef prepared a nutritious full Sunday roast dinner and even baked a three-tier birthday cake to which we added birthday candles. Mum thoroughly enjoyed the occasion and we all appreciated the valuable time spent with her. A huge thank you, lots of memories to cherish.
Thank you for your lovely feedback. All feedbacks are very important to us, I will feed this to the wider team. It was our pleasure to look after your mother.
Kind Regards,
Jiji.
A friend went to live at Plane Tree Court in March '20 after a stroke. Due to Covid, we have not been able to visit. The care and consideration given by all the staff both to our friend and us have been outstanding. Our friend is starting to make a good recovery because of them. We have been able to speak/video call him regularly. He has no close family so we, his friends, care deeply for him. We really cannot find the words to express our appreciation fully.
My friend was admitted to Plane Tree Court after suffering a stroke. He had been a very much appreciated member of a volunteer group at a local boatyard. Since being at Plane Tree he has come on leaps and bounds and looks so much better. This, I am sure, is due to the care he has received by the leadership of senior nursing care staff and the team of carers who have worked so hard to help him on his way to recovery, which he is still doing. In these hard times of Covid, they have worked hard to make the lives of all the residents as good as is possible when visits have been restricted. Thankfully I have seen videos of my friend and the short films that have appeared on WhatsApp that have all been arranged by the staff and carers at the home. Christmas would have been so much harder for my friend to take without their help. Care and love have certainly been shown. I appreciate it and I am sure my friend will be doing likewise. Thank you Plane Tree. Have a lovely Xmas yourselves.
I had the very hard decision of putting my nan into a nursing home in Feb 2020. I viewed at least five places as I was always the main career for my nan, this was a difficult thing for me and for her and with Covid hitting us I felt Plane Tree Court was the best place. Wow, I am so, so glad I put her in here. This place and the staff are absolutely amazing, always going above and beyond to help me and my nan feel connected and I’m always kept up to date with changes and always part of anything that needs to happen with my nan. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for making the hardest months of our lives a little easier. We have got this together guys, anybody wanting a good caring place for a loved one please, please enquire here!
Thank you very much for your kind words, this is more encouraging and is empowering the staff during this unprecedented time. Thank you for your ongoing co-operation and support.
Kind Regards
They have kept me updated with issues that have arisen with my mother. The building and grounds are kept clean and tidy. I am very satisfied with this nursing home for my mothers care.
Thank you so much for your kind words, I will feed this back to the staff. It means a lot to us especially during this difficult time.
Kind Regards.
As we did not know a great amount about the care home world, we did look at a number of homes in the area that could accommodate a married couple. Finding a good and pleasant refuge, we then realised, was to be a difficult task. Then were guided to Plane Tree Court by the social worker at the hospital. Our first visit was a pleasant experience and were impressed by the professional manner of the staff we met. So mum and dad duly moved in. Mum, in particular, felt very safe and contented. She did go downhill after a while, but we were always consulted at every step of her care. The whole home staff were we felt, were really caring and concerned at every step and had a great relationship with them both. So to end this review, our thanks to all the staff for your wonderful care and hard work.
Thank you for your kind words. Your feedback is very valuable to all of us at Plane Tree Court. It encourages to do better in making differences in peoples life.
I wish you all the very best.
Thank you.
I would just like to thank all those who work at Plane Tree Court for being so kind and thoughtful with my mother who is now at the end of her life. She is treated with dignity and care and the head nurse could not have been any more caring. He has kept us informed with all her treatments etc. Her room is lovely and clean, we are offered drinks. Thank you all from all my mother's children.
The home is friendly and staff are helpful. My mum has settled well and the staff are always very good to her. We can call into the home at any time and the staff will always let me know how mum is doing at any time.
I would say this is the best care home in the Stockport area.
Since my sister became a resident, she felt at ease straight away. All the staff treated her with respect. She could not get better staff to look after her. The home is great, the staff were great with her and they all loved her. Nothing was too much trouble. Nice, clean home and good meals too. To everyone at Plane Tree, a big thank you for everything you al did for my sister. You are the best!
My mum is having ongoing care in Plane Tree Court and I just wanted to say a big thank you to everyone involved in her care, their expertise, kind consideration have put my mum on the road to recovery. Without the chef preparing and taking great consideration of mum's special needs as I know he does to all I think mum would have struggled immensely, he's brilliant to all residents. Fantastic nursing care and cleaners, activity staff. Everyone and ongoing. Big thank you.
Plane Tree Court provides very good care to my brother who is in receipt of full-time nursing care and requires complete handling. The staff are gentle, good-humoured and seem to have all necessary equipment for the task.
They work very well with one another. Emergencies are dealt with efficiently and quickly. Contrary to my expectation my brother settled very well, due to his courteous reception and is on good terms with his carers. I am quite satisfied to have him at Plane Tree Court and compliment the management on their role.
Thank you for your positive feed back. We welcome all feed back as we continuously strive to improve over all customer experience. I will pass on your kind feed back to the staff.
My aunt resided at this care home for the last 11 months of her life. I found the carers extremely caring and attentive towards her. We had looked at a couple of homes before deciding on this one, all the staff are friendly and very approachable. This was a home from home for her. The care and cleanliness she received was second to none. It was always clean and never felt like a care home when entering, day or night.
Thank you for your positive feedback. I will relay this to my team and it is always encouraging and satisfying to know that they have delivered high quality and holistic care.
