My friend is being cared for with dignity and each member of staff I've encountered on my twice weekly visits are always caring and friendly. The room she has is kept very clean and the cook pops in regularly to check that she is enjoying her gluten free food. My friend is happy with the care she is
receiving and that makes her family and friends know it's the right place for her.

Plane Tree Manor the building and rooms are quite dated but I can see work is being done, I had my reservations at first, but the staff, the chef, everyone that works there are so friendly and so kind to all the residents, to me that was the most important thing. My dads care and his environment, they
looked after my dads needs so well even cooking food he enjoyed with being Chinese, chef did a great job. Lovely staff always a smile although a difficult job - well done to all.
Reply from Jiji Saju, Manager at Plane Tree Court

Dear Shau,Thank you so much for your kind and thoughtful review. We truly appreciate your honesty and understanding . It is great deal to hear that, despite your initial reservations, our dedicated team made a positive impression through their care, kindness, and commitment. We're especially pleased that your father felt comfortable and well cared for, and that our chef was able to provide meals he enjoyed , we always strive to tailor care and services to each resident's individual needs and preferences. Your recognition of our staff's warmth and hard work is incredibly encouraging.Kind Regards

After my dad's first 3 days at the care home, we knew it would not be for long as he was end of life, and I was allowed to stay with my dad 24 hours a day, which I know meant a lot to him and especially to me. Everybody was extremely accommodating, helpful, gracious, and polite, as I know this is not
the normal. I'm ever so grateful, as was my dad. Certain members of staff need extra credit as they really did shine. 5 in particular, thank you.

I am so happy with the care my husband has received. He's been there since December 2023 and has had nothing but the best care. Everyone looking after him as follows, I would like to thank, from my husband and myself, the carers on the first floor, nurses on the first floor, activity staff and of course
management. I can't thank them all enough for being so kind to myself and my husband. Thank you all for your caring and hard work.

My mum has been a resident at Cherryfield House for a few years now sadly due to dementia.
Cherryfield has saved my mums life, she is safe and looked after to a level I couldn't achieve myself.
The manager, deputy manager and the senior carer and others who's names I do not remember have always been
amazing and patient and tolerant of mum and myself!!
I don't know how you all do the jobs you do but keep it up.
Thank you.

My dad has been a resident now since December 24. As a family we are very happy with not only with how settled he is but how well looked after he is too. The staff are all warm, caring and patient people who obviously care about the residents. Knowing all their individual quirks and habits the staff
all have their own style of care and way of connecting with individuals which is lovely to watch. Sam has been great and lets us know anything of importance in a timely manner. It's a great relief for us all to know dad is being not only looked after but also he is treated as an individual . Thank you to everyone

Cherryfield House cared for my Dad for the final 13 months of his life, when he was sadly succumbing to vascular dementia & alzheimers. My family & I all agree that there is no finer place he could have been; the manager and all the staff at Cherryfield House took such wonderful care of him that we
really can't rate them highly enough. My sincere thanks and best wishes to all the staff.

Dad was in Cherryfields for just over 12 months. It was not an easy decision to place him in care but on the first day I visited and saw him in the lounge with the manager, I breathed a sigh of relief. There were plenty of staff around, all very attentive and smiling, and this was the case on every
visit. Dad had Alzheimer's and not always aware of his situation, but he always seemed settled. The only smell was that of food cooking and again that was always the case. His room though basic was always clean, as was dad. I cannot fault the staff at all, they were extremely caring. I once said to the manager that I wished dad could tell me what he had for his meals, as he always forgot what he had and that afternoon she went out and purchased a white board for the staff to write it on each day for us. That was such a simple thing but one that made us feel more connected to his life still. I will always be grateful for the care that they gave to dad.

I feel very fortunate that my mother is being so well cared for at Plane Tree. The staff are outstanding and offer a high level of care, nothing is too much trouble. My mum's room is always kept clean as are all the communal areas. Visiting at any time of the day or evening is never a problem, all the

My parents due to ill health have been at PTC since November. I am so full of respect and am so grateful to all the staff, they make both my parents and my brother and I feel so welcome and have always got time to tell us all about our parents day. Management always try to accommodate any requirements
or suggestions we may have. It's such a relief to know that our parents are cared for so well and made such a fuss of by all staff. There are many planned group activities to keep everyone occupied which could be musical or creative, a breakfast club 3 times a week. Residents can make appointments with a hairdresser, podiatrist etc. and visitors are always welcome. I definately feel my parents are in a safe, clean, cared for environment which gives peace of mind knowing that when we have visited them they are left in safe hands. Thanks to each and every one of you for all your continuing care.

Residents are not allowed to mix/mingle with each other, unless they are put in the downstairs communal room. Food is poor quality and cheap, very small portions. My mum has lost lots of weight whilst being in there. Prisoners get treated better. Lack of activities, rooms are too hot, so residents go
to sleep no matter what time of day it is. I had to request a chiropodist, as her feet were in a bad way. No one at the home noticed. The care is appalling.
