Night Senior Healthcare Assistant

Due to expansion and refurbishment we have exciting opportunities for a Senior HCA nights for our Residential Unit and our Residential Dementia Unit.

Job Purpose: To take overall responsibilty for the Unit whilst on shift.  To share our commitment to excellent personal and social care.  To ensure care delivered is person centred and in line with individual care plans and risk assessments.  To lead and support HCA team.

Required Skills, Abilities and Experience:

The Senior will supervise and lead  team on the unit  this includes:

Demonstrating a passion for Person Centred Care.

Medication administration and Management.

Care planning, risk assessment and documentation skills

Good overall understanding of CQC Key Lines of Enquiry

Able to demonstrate knowledge in MCA and DOLs

Ability to inspire Staff team

Open communication with Unit Leads, Deputy and Home Manager.

Highly Motivated Individual.

To act as a positive role model and provide effective supervision and guidance to staff team.

Compassionate and caring nature.

Reliable, trustworthy with a good sense of humour.
