We are dedicated to supporting every aspect of well-being in a professional, safe and homely setting. Our goal is to provide a welcoming environment where residents receive person-centred nursing care that upholds dignity and fosters independence. We offer short and long stay residential and nursing care. Petworth Cottage has an excellent reputation for providing End of Life care, with close collaboration with the local GP surgeries and the Midhurst Palliative Care service (Macmillan Midhurst).

With our long-standing Home Manager moving on after many years of dedicated service, we are now seeking an experienced Home Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will be a Registered Nurse who will also undertake the role of Registered Manager with the Care Quality Commission (CQC).

We recognise the challenges within the care sector and are seeking an outstanding candidate to lead our care home, which was recently rated 'Good' by the CQC, with the ambition of building towards 'Outstanding'. As Home Manager, you will be supported by an experienced senior leadership team responsible for overseeing daily resident care, operations, finance and IT.

The role

You will be the CQC registered manager, enhanced DBS and current NMC registration required and you will play a key role in:

?  Further developing our resident offering

?  Embedding our core values in day-to-day practice

?  Driving continuous improvement in resident care

?  Enhancing the use of information technology to support service delivery

You will also make regular reports to, and work closely with, the Board of Trustees.

We currently have 32 rooms and offer end-of-life care in partnership with Midhurst Palliative Care, a service we have plans to further develop.

There is a requirement for some weekend working and to be on call at specific times (further detail in the job description).

What we offer

?  Salary: £65,000 to £70,000 depending on experience. Some weekend and on call work is expected.

What we're looking for

You will be a Registered Nurse and Registered Manager (or eligible for CQC registration) with significant experience leading a care or nursing home, including strong clinical, financial and people leadership skills.
