Domestic Assistant/Housekeeper

The Willows Nursing Home is a friendly, person-centred care home providing high-quality residential and nursing care to older adults. We are looking for a reliable and hardworking Domestic Assistant to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our residents, visitors, and staff.

Your Key Responsibilities will include;

• Cleaning resident bedrooms, bathrooms, and communal areas to a high standard.
• Following and maintaining strict infection prevention and control procedures.
• Safe use of cleaning chemicals and equipment.
• Reporting concerns to maintenance and or safety concerns to senior colleagues.
• Supporting a homely, welcoming and respectful atmosphere for residents and their families.

Requirements:

• Previous cleaning or domestic experience (care home experience desirable)
• Good attention to detail and hygiene standards 
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Kind and respectful attitude towards residents, colleagues and visitors.
• Good communication skills.
• Willingness to complete mandatory training relevant to role.
