Health Care Assistant

The Carer will provide high-quality, person-centred care
to service users in accordance with best practice,
legislation, company policies, procedures and agreed
standards. The role involves supporting individuals with
their daily needs, promoting independence, wellbeing,dignity and personal choice, and ensuring that each
person's wishes and preferences are respected.
The successful candidate will work closely with Senior
Carers, Nurses, colleagues and members of the
multidisciplinary team to ensure that care is delivered
safely and effectively. They will follow individual care
plans, report any changes in service users' needs, and
promote and safeguard their welfare.
The role also involves supporting service users to
maintain their skills, interests, relationships and
connections with family, friends and the wider community.
Staff are expected to develop positive working
relationships, maintain professional standards and act as
ambassadors for the service.
Full statutory and role-specific training will be provided,
with opportunities for ongoing learning and development.
The successful candidate will be expected to work within
the Fundamental Standards, understand the regulatory
requirements of the care sector, including CQC
requirements, and comply with all relevant policies and
procedures.
