Thorneycroft Care Home is looking for a dedicated and caring Support Worker to join our team on a 33-hour night shift contract.

As a Support Worker, you will provide compassionate, person-centred care and support to our residents throughout the night, helping to ensure their comfort, safety, dignity, and wellbeing.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide care and support to residents throughout the night.

• Assist residents with personal care and daily living activities.

• Promote residents’ dignity, privacy, independence, and choice.

• Ensure residents are comfortable and well-supported during the night.

• Monitor residents and respond to their individual needs.

• Support with mobility and repositioning when required.

• Maintain a safe, clean, and comfortable environment.

• Complete care records and documentation accurately.

• Report any concerns or changes in residents’ wellbeing.

• Work as part of the wider care team to provide consistent support.
