Position: Chef
Hours: Part-Time – approximately 3 shifts per week
Pay: £13.50 per hour

St Catherines is looking for a reliable and passionate Part-Time Chef to join our team. We are seeking someone who takes pride in preparing fresh, nutritious and enjoyable meals for our residents while maintaining high standards of food safety and hygiene.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook fresh, nutritious and well-presented meals for residents.
• Follow menus and cater for individual dietary requirements and preferences.
• Ensure food is prepared, stored and served safely.
• Maintain excellent standards of kitchen cleanliness and food hygiene.
• Monitor stock levels and help minimise food waste.
• Work closely with the care team to support residents' nutritional needs.
• Create a welcoming and enjoyable dining experience for residents.

About You

• Previous experience as a Chef is desirable.
• Passionate about cooking and providing nutritious meals.
• Good knowledge of food hygiene and kitchen safety.
• Reliable, organised and able to work independently.
• Caring and considerate towards residents' individual needs.
• A positive team player with good communication skills.
