Holly Park Care Home is a care provider with homes across England and Scotland. Situated in the heart of Clayton, Bradford, Holly Park provides a warm and welcoming environment where residents are supported to live with dignity, independence and choice.

The home provides residential care for older people and supports individuals living with dementia and physical disabilities. Holly Park is closely connected with the local community and aims to provide person-centred care in a friendly and homely setting.

The Role

Holly Park Care Home is looking for a caring and reliable Healthcare Assistant to join the team on a bank basis.

As a Healthcare Assistant, you will provide high-quality, person-centred care and support to residents, helping them maintain their dignity, comfort and independence. The role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, is flexible with their availability and wants to make a positive difference to residents' lives.

Key Responsibilities

• Supporting residents with personal care and daily living activities

• Providing compassionate, respectful and person-centred support

• Supporting residents with their individual care needs and routines

• Encouraging residents' independence and wellbeing

• Assisting with meals, activities and other daily tasks

• Maintaining a safe, clean and comfortable environment

• Communicating effectively with residents, relatives and colleagues

• Completing care records and documentation accurately

• Following safeguarding, health and safety and infection-control procedures

• Able to respect residents' dignity, privacy and choices

• Previous experience in a care or healthcare setting is desirable

• Relevant care qualifications are desirable, but training may be available for the right candidate

Working Pattern

• Bank position

• Flexible shifts based on the needs of the home

• Alternate weekends required

• Availability to cover additional shifts when required is desirable
