About the Cook Role:

As a Cook, you will prepare nutritious, appetising, and well-balanced meals for our residents. Your commitment to high standards, safe food preparation, and thoughtful presentation will help support residents’ health, wellbeing, and enjoyment at mealtimes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Menu preparation: Follow established menus to organise, prepare, and serve appetising, freshly made meals.
• Food quality: Prepare meals with care, ensuring each dish is well presented, nutritious, and enjoyable for residents.
• Cleanliness and safety: Maintain a clean kitchen environment and follow all relevant health, safety, and hygiene standards.

Skills and Experience:

• Previous experience in a similar role is essential.
• Knowledge of a range of dietary requirements is desirable.
• A Food Hygiene or Food Safety qualification is essential.
