We're looking for a compassionate, reliable Health Care Assistant to join our team at Plane Tree Court and help our residents live with dignity, comfort and independence.

The Role

As a Health Care Assistant, you'll provide day-to-day personal and social care to residents, working closely with nursing and care team colleagues to deliver support that's tailored to each person's needs and wishes. •  Help residents move safely, using equipment and techniques in line with training

•  Observe and record residents' wellbeing, reporting any changes to senior staff promptly

•  Maintain accurate, up-to-date care records and daily logs

•  Support residents' independence, choice and dignity at all times

•  Take part in social, recreational and wellbeing activities with residents

•  Follow Serencroft's care plans, safeguarding and infection control procedures

•  Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary care team

What We're Looking For

•  A genuine, caring interest in supporting older and vulnerable adults

•  Right to work in the UK

•  Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

•  Good communication skills and a team-focused attitude

•  Reliability and flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends

•  NVQ/QCF Level 2 in Health & Social Care is desirable but not essential — Opportunity to take up NVQ once passed probation.

•  Previous care experience is required

What We Offer

•  Full induction

•  Ongoing training and career development within a multi-site care group

•  Opportunity to take up NVQ once successfully completing probation period.

•  A supportive, values-led team environment

•    Annual Leave: 28 Days per annum (including Bank Holidays)

•  Refer-a-friend bonus – up to £200!

•  Blue Light Card Eligibility
