Head of Facilities

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Head of Facilities position. The post is for 40hrs per week (to include occasional weekends) and be part of the on-call management team. Salary DOE.

The Head of Facilities is a senior member of the Centre Management Team and is responsible for the effective leadership, management and oversight of the Centre's facilities and non-clinical support services, including Estates and Maintenance, Housekeeping, Laundry and Catering.

As a member of the Senior Management Team, the postholder will contribute to the overall operational and commercial performance of the Centre, achievement of agreed KPIs and the continuous improvement of resident experience and service quality.

The ideal candidate will have significant experience in facilities management, estates, catering, housekeeping or related support services, preferably within a nursing, health or social care environment, have good knowledge of health and safety legislation and statutory requirements relevant to a large residential healthcare environment. Experience in understanding of CQC regulations relevant to the role, including requirements relating to safe care and treatment, premises and equipment and good governance are essential.
