Part-time Housekeeper

Arun Lodge Residential Care Home is a family run 19 bedroom home for the elderly with varying care needs. Located near the beach in Bognor Regis, we offer a relaxed homely environment where laughter can be regularly heard. We are looking to employ a part time housekeeper to join our friendly team.

Your responsibilities will include ensuring all communal areas are kept clean and well presented to a high specification. Full room cleans on a regular basis, working to a checklist. Thorough cleaning in the event of a spillage/accident.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

• To comply with all statutory and legal requirements relevant to a care home environment.
• To be aware of any changes in a residents health and/or wellbeing and report it to the senior member of staff. 
• Complete required documentation.
• Interact with the residents throughout the home environment.
• Responsible for making sure the residents rooms are clean, tidy and presentable at all times and ensuring the home environment is clean and welcoming.
• Attend all mandatory training provided.
