We're looking for a friendly, organised Receptionist to be the first point of contact for visitors, families and professionals at Gable Court.

The Role

As our Receptionist, you'll be the welcoming face of Gable Court, greeting visitors, managing calls and enquiries, and providing administrative support to the home's management team. You'll help ensure the home meets health and safety standards — playing an important behind-the-scenes role in the comfort and wellbeing of our residents.

Key Responsibilities

•  Answer and direct incoming telephone calls and manage general enquiries

•  Maintain accurate visitor sign-in and sign-out records in line with health and safety and safeguarding procedures

•  Manage incoming and outgoing post and deliveries

•  Provide administrative support to the home's management team, including typing, filing and record keeping

•  Schedule appointments and manage diaries as required

•  Maintain confidentiality regarding residents, families and staff at all times

•  Support the home's marketing and enquiry process, including responding to prospective resident and family enquiries

•  Ensure the reception area is kept tidy, welcoming and well presented

What We're Looking For

•  Previous experience in a receptionist, administrative or customer service role is desirable but not essential

•  Good IT skills, including Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)

•  Right to work in the UK

•  Willingness to undergo an Enhanced DBS check

•  Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm and welcoming manner

•  Willingness to work weekends as part of a flexible working pattern.

•  Experience within a care home, healthcare or similarly regulated environment is desirable.

What We Offer

•  A varied, hands-on role within a supportive, values-led care home team

•  Ongoing training and development opportunities within a multi-site care group

•  Full induction

•  Potential to take up NVQ once successfully completing probation period.

•  A supportive value led team environment

•  Refer a Friend bonus – up to £200!

•  Blue Light Card Eligibility
