Maintenance

Key Responsibilities

• General Repairs & Upkeep: Fix structural issues, leaky taps, broken fixtures, and complete basic plumbing, carpentry, painting, and decorating.
• Safety Compliance Checks: Conduct routine inspections of fire doors, emergency lighting, water temperatures, alarm systems, and window restrictors.
• Groundskeeping: Maintain the gardens, clear pathways, and ensure outdoor areas are tidy and hazard-free.
• Record Keeping: Maintain accurate, up-to-date logs of maintenance schedules, equipment servicing, and safety audits.
• Resident Interaction: Work respectfully around vulnerable residents, maintaining a friendly and supportive environment.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Practical experience in general building maintenance or a specific trade (plumbing, carpentry, or electrics).
• Good understanding of health and safety regulations in a residential or healthcare setting.
• Ability to work independently and respond to urgent repair requests.
• A full UK driving licence
• Some IT skill

To work 5 days a week, 8.30am - 4pm.
