Overview

We are seeking an energetic and compassionate Care Assistant to join our friendly team. In this vital role, you will support residents with their daily needs, promote independence, and ensure they feel valued and cared for. Duties

  • Assist residents with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, and grooming while respecting their dignity and privacy
  • Support residents in engaging with activities and social events to promote well-being and happiness
  • Help implement and follow individual care plans tailored to each resident’s needs
  • Maintain clear communication with residents, families, and team members to ensure consistent care delivery
  • Support mobility and encourage independence through safe handling techniques
  • Use IT systems to update records and document care activities accurately
  • Drive or assist with transportation for appointments or outings when required

Skills / Qualifications

  • Qualifications Previous experience in a care home or home care setting is advantageous but not essential; full training will be provided Strong communication skills in English to effectively interact with residents
