Senior Night Care Assistant

We are a family run business, established in 1985. We provide residential dementia care for the elderly.

We are looking for a new person to join our team of friendly staff. To work three nights a week which includes some weekends.

To be a senior care assistant at night. To assist in the smooth running of the shift. To administer medication.

To induct new care assistant's and take them through their induction programme and act as their mentor.

To be able to instruct and delegate tasks and act as a leader.

To liaise with senior staff.

To identify potential hazards by risk assessments.

Keep accurate records and to complete care plans and reviews on the care system.

Must display an attitude of professionalism and respect for team members and residents. Experience needed.

Must have an NVQ/QCF Level 2 or above in Health & Social Care.

Must have good communication skills.

Be caring and have patience.

Have good time management.

Free car parking available.

5.6 weeks holiday pro rata.
