We're a family-owned nursing home in Staplehurst, providing residential, nursing, dementia and complex care. We believe great care starts with knowing the person, their routines, preferences, history and the things that give their day meaning.

What you'll be doing

As a Care Practitioner, you'll work alongside our Senior Care Practitioners and Registered Nurses to provide safe, compassionate and person-led care.

You'll:

• Support residents with personal care, mobility, eating and drinking, while encouraging independence wherever possible
• Get to know residents as individuals and understand their choices, routines and preferences
• Notice changes in a resident's health or wellbeing and communicate these promptly to the nursing team
• Build positive relationships with residents and their families
• Support residents to remain active, socially engaged and connected to the things they enjoy
• Maintain clear and accurate digital care records
• Work closely with nursing, care and lifestyle colleagues
• Help create a safe, comfortable and welcoming home
• Treat every resident with dignity, respect and kindness

Who we're looking for

Experience in care is helpful, but we're just as interested in your attitude and approach.

We're looking for people who are kind, compassionate, reliable and good communicators. You'll be comfortable working as part of a team, willing to learn and confident enough to speak up when something doesn't seem right.
