Job Summary
We are currently looking for a Bank Kitchen Assistant to join the team at Cherrybrook Care Home.
We are seeking a reliable, hardworking, and enthusiastic individual who enjoys working as part of a team and takes pride in helping to provide nutritious, high-quality meals for our residents. Previous experience in a kitchen or catering environment is desirable but not essential, as full training will be provided.
Cherrybrook is a specialist complex care nursing home supporting individuals with a range of complex needs, including dementia, Parkinson's disease, Huntington's disease, palliative care needs, and mental health conditions. As a Bank Kitchen Assistant, you will play an important role in ensuring our residents receive well-balanced meals while maintaining high standards of food hygiene, cleanliness, and safety within the kitchen.

Skills / Qualifications
- Previous experience as a Kitchen Assistant or within a catering environment is desirable. Knowledge of basic food preparation and safe food handling practices. Understanding of food hygiene and health and safety procedures (Food Hygiene Certificate is desirable but not essential). Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently when required. Good communication and interpersonal skills. Reliable
