We’re looking for a Recruitment Administration Apprentice to join our busy and friendly recruitment team. This is your chance to get stuck in from day one.
You’ll be a valued member of the recruitment team, gaining hands-on experience, building your confidence and learning how we support candidates every step of the way from application through to starting their new role.
As a Recruitment Administration Apprentice, you will:
- Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Recruitment Advisor and wider recruitment team.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the recruitment process, providing clear information and responding to queries professionally and promptly.
- Support the Recruitment Advisor with the post-offer process and help candidates understand the actions they need to complete before starting employment.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate information on the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), ensuring records are updated in real time.
- Guide candidates through the post-offer process and follow up outstanding information to ensure all required steps are completed within the appropriate timescales.
- Ensure staff file documentation is completed accurately and has the appropriate sign-off.
- Manage enquiries received through the recruitment team inbox and phone line, ensuring they are dealt with promptly and efficiently.
- Work closely with the Recruitment Advisor to coordinate candidates through the recruitment process.
- Attend apprenticeship training and complete relevant coursework and learning activities as required.
We are looking for someone who is motivated to learn, enjoys working with people and is keen to develop a career in recruitment and administration.
You will have:
- The ability to manage tasks and prioritise your workload well.
- Good attention to detail and accuracy when maintaining records.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- An adaptable and positive attitude.
- A passion for providing an excellent candidate experience.
- Good IT skills, including confidence using Microsoft Office applications.
- A willingness to learn, develop new skills and contribute positively as part of a team.
Please note that this opportunity is for individuals looking to start an apprenticeship. Applicants must not currently be undertaking an existing apprenticeship.
