Hours:  Days, 44 hours per week available, working weekends on rota

Pemberley Manor Care Home, situated in Orpington, is a warm & friendly nursing home. Our dedicated team, led by the Manager, offers round-the-clock support, making life comfortable and enjoyable for the residents.

ABOUT THE SENIOR CARE ASSISTANT ROLE

Within your role as a Senior Care Assistant, you can really make a difference to our residents' lives. Your responsibilities will include:

• Aiding residents' emotional well-being and social needs
• Administering and monitoring medications to residents.
• Supporting residents at mealtimes
• Mentoring & assisting new employees.
• Implementing, monitoring, and reviewing care plans to meet residents' specific needs.
• Plan, allocate & supervise the work of the team of care assistants

ABOUT YOU
Our fantastic staff are at the heart of our homes & provide vital day-to-day support to our residents. Having those care values is vital to sharing a happy home, so we would love to hear from those who really do want to make a difference to people's lives.

• Experience as a Senior Care Assistant & leading a team.
• Be no stranger to working night shifts
• Have a friendly & caring attitude.
• Able to engage well with the residents and their families
• Have an understanding of people with Dementia
• NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or willing to work towards this.
• Great communication skills, both written & verbal.
