£13.45 per hour | Full-Time and Bank Contracts

• Full-Time Night Shift: 44 hours per week / 36 hours per week

• Full-Time Day Shift: 33 hours per week / 22 hours per week

• Bank Contracts: Bank hours are also available for candidates looking for flexible working opportunities

• Alternate weekends 

About EachStep Blackburn

EachStep Blackburn is a purpose-built care home in Blackburn providing residential and nursing care in a welcoming and supportive environment. The home supports residents with a range of care needs, including people living with dementia, physical disabilities, learning disabilities, mental health conditions and sensory impairments.

The home provides comfortable accommodation with en-suite bedrooms, communal areas, landscaped gardens and spaces designed to encourage social interaction and meaningful activities. The care team is committed to providing person-centred care that promotes residents' dignity, independence, choice and wellbeing.

The Role

As a Care Assistant, you will provide compassionate, person-centred support to residents with their daily care needs. You will work closely with the wider care team to ensure residents receive safe, respectful and consistent care.

Your responsibilities will include assisting with personal care and daily routines, supporting residents to maintain their independence, encouraging participation in activities, maintaining a safe and comfortable environment, and communicating effectively with colleagues and other professionals involved in residents' care.

About You

We are looking for individuals who are caring, dependable and committed to providing a high standard of care. You should have good communication skills, a positive attitude and the ability to work effectively as part of a team. Previous care experience is desirable, but we also welcome applications from individuals who are passionate about care and have the right attitude and willingness to learn.

Please note: Due to the location and shift patterns, we would particularly welcome applications from candidates who live locally or within a reasonable travelling distance of EachStep Blackburn. Applicants must be able to reliably travel to the home for their scheduled shifts.
