Waking Night Support worker

We run a small residential home dedicating support for 7 adults with learning disabilities. Our mission is to provide a safe, effective and comfortable nuturing environment for our individuals. We are looking for 3 night shifts a week (36 hours) and this would be a permanent position for the right individual. 

The role: as a waking night support worker you will remain fully awake for 12 hours of the shift, 8.30pm - 8.30am. your time will be split between monitoring the well being of our residents and ensuring the home is clean and tidy, and organised for the morning. There is always somebody to ring during the night if there was ever a concern. 

Key responsibilities will be providing compassionate pateient care for our 7 residents and respond calmly if anyone wakes up or needs assistance. 

Night monitoring: conducting regular, discreet checks on residents throughout the night to ensure their safety. handovers maintain accurate night logs and complete a professional handover each morning with the day staff. 

We also have great benefits of double pay on bank holidays. We have very little staff turn over, generally all our staff are long standing and know the residents very very well.
