Job Summary

As the Regional Manager, you will provide strategic and operational leadership across a portfolio of care services within our Central region, with support provided to other regions as required. Reporting to the Group Operations Director, you will support Home and Service Managers to achieve high standards of quality, regulatory compliance, financial sustainability and workforce stability.

The role is based at our Head Office in Cambuslang, with travel across Scotland and participation in the Senior On-Call Rota required.

Your leadership and management skills will play a vital role in driving service excellence and operational performance across multiple services. Your passion for the job will enable you to ensure the delivery of outstanding person-centred care and help inspire, motivate and develop the leaders in your region.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Lead and support Home and Service Managers across your region.
  • Drive quality improvement, governance and regulatory compliance.
  • Ensure excellent standards of clinical and personal care.
  • Manage service performance, occupancy and financial outcomes.
  • Develop high-performing teams through coaching, support and accountability.
  • Build strong relationships with local authorities, NHS Scotland and regulatory bodies.
  • Support business growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Promote a positive workplace culture and organisational values.
  • Participate in the Senior On-Call Rota.

Qualifications:

  • Leadership and Management qualification.
  • Significant regional or multi-site management experience within health and social care.
  • Strong leadership, coaching and performance management skills, with the ability to inspire, motivate and develop leaders.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building abilities.
  • Experience managing quality, compliance, workforce and financial performance.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Commercial awareness and financial accountability.
  • Resilience, professionalism and a solutions-focused mindset.
  • Commitment to person-centred care and continuous improvement.
  • Full UK driving licence and willingness to travel across Scotland.
  • Active NMC registration (desirable).
  • Experience managing both care home and care at home services (desirable).
  • Experience leading transformational change and service development programmes (desirable).
