Senior Health Care Assistant. Burscough Manor Care Home

  • Rate of pay: £15.03 per hour
  • Contracted hours: 33 (3 shifts) or 22 (2 shifts) per week available  
  • Shift Times: Days: 8am-8pm

We're looking for an experienced and compassionate Senior Health Care Assistant who can lead by example, support colleagues, and help deliver high-quality, person-centred care.

What You'll Do

  • Lead and support the care team during your shift.
  • Deliver personal care and support with daily living activities.
  • Administer medication safely and accurately.
  • Monitor residents' wellbeing and respond to any concerns.
  • Complete care records and contribute to care planning.
  • Build positive relationships with residents, families and healthcare professionals.
  • Promote dignity, independence and choice in everything you do.

About You

  • Previous experience in a Senior Care Assistant or Care Assistant role.
  • NVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care, or willingness to work towards it.
  • Confident leading shifts and supporting colleagues.
  • Compassionate, reliable and organised.
  • Strong communication and record-keeping skills.
  • Passionate about delivering exceptional, person-centred care.
