About Heartly Green Care Home

Heartly Green Care Home is a lovely, 59 bedded purpose built residential care home for older people and is situated in a quiet residential area of Irlam in Salford. It is is a warm, welcoming and friendly home with some wonderful places to relax in and enjoy company of family and friend, including lounge areas and some themed areas for residents to enjoy quiet moments as well a a large accessible garden.

Key Responsibilities

• Collect, sort and process residents' clothing, bedding, towels and other laundry.

• Operate washing machines and dryers safely and efficiently.

• Fold, iron and organise clean laundry before returning items to the correct residents.

• Ensure laundry is handled carefully to prevent loss or mix-ups.

• Maintain a clean, tidy and hygienic laundry area.

• Follow infection prevention and control procedures, including the safe handling of soiled laundry.

• Report any damaged or missing items and equipment issues to the appropriate person.

• Respect residents' privacy, dignity and personal belongings at all times.
