Night Care Assistant

Old Raven House Care Home is looking for a compassionate, dependable and dedicated Night Care Assistant to join our team, working 36 hours per week.

As a Night Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our residents throughout the night, ensuring their safety, comfort and wellbeing. You will provide person-centred care, respond to residents' individual needs and help maintain a calm and reassuring environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide personal care and assistance to residents throughout the night, including support with hygiene, continence and mobility.

• Respond promptly and sensitively to residents' needs and requests for assistance.

• Carry out regular checks to ensure residents are safe and comfortable.

• Support residents who may experience difficulty sleeping or require reassurance during the night.

• Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in residents' health or wellbeing.

• Work collaboratively with other members of the night team to deliver consistent, high-quality care.

• Ensure residents' dignity, privacy and independence are respected at all times.

• Help maintain a safe, clean and comfortable environment.
