Head cook

Highbury Rise is a small homely 22 bedroom residential care home in the sought after area of Hitchin.  Highbury rise is one of three care homes in the Benslow Management company care home group.  We now have a vacancy within the home for a cook to plan menus, cook two options per meal for our residents and complete the kitchen cleaning and monitoring records following the practice of safer food better business.

You will be a team player as the care assistants assist with meal times and you will take pride in cooking nutritional home cooked meals for the people living at Highbury.  You will understand different consistencies of food and deliver in line with the guidance we are given by the SALT team.  The residents love nothing better than traditional home cooked meals and puddings.  If you would like to join our team and be part of our great care delivery, bringing residents something they choose and enjoy, please do apply.
