About the Role
Bryn Y Mor Care Home is seeking a compassionate, dedicated, and experienced Senior Carer to join our team. As a Senior Carer, you will play a key role in delivering high-quality person-centred care, supporting residents with their daily needs while leading and guiding care staff during your shift.
Responsibilities
- Deliver high standards of personal care and support.
- Administer and record medication in line with company policies.
- Lead and supervise care staff on shift.
- Complete care documentation accurately and promptly.
- Support residents with mobility, nutrition, wellbeing, and social activities.
- Monitor residents' health and report any concerns appropriately.
- Liaise with families, healthcare professionals, and other agencies.
- Promote dignity, choice, independence, and safeguarding at all times.
Skills / Qualifications
- NVQ/QCF Level 3 in Health & Social Care (or working towards). Previous experience in a senior care role. Medication administration experience. Good leadership and communication skills. Knowledge of safeguarding
