A major refurbishment programme has taken place at The Lodge in Highbridge, a home providing support for people with mental illnesses, learning disabilities and autism.

Craegmoor, part of the Priory Group of Companies, has invested £450,000 which has seen the main building gutted and completely rebuilt to high specification.
The home specialises in supporting people with Asperger’s Syndrome and challenging behaviour.
The main house has 10 rooms, and there are two separate bungalows in the grounds of the main house, where people are supported to live more independently.
Sarah Hughes, managing director of Craegmoor said: “Quality is at the heart of everything we do and that includes the environment of the services. The refurbishment work has made a real difference to the residents at The Lodge.
“Everything is geared towards achieving positive outcomes for the people who live at The Lodge and the refurbishment is making a real difference. We care for and support vulnerable people and the physical environment in which they live is very important”
The refurbishment will be celebrated at on Open Day on Thursday 25 October.
