Nursing & Residential Care magazine launches new awards scheme for innovative care

Nursing & Residential Care magazine has launched the Nursing & Residential Care Awards - a new national awards initiative to celebrate innovative and compassionate care.

The event will be held on Friday 22 November 2013 in London.

The purpose of the awards is to pay tribute to people who have shown outstanding excellence within their field of work.

The Nursing & Residential Care awards are dedicated to promoting evidence-based clinical practice in care homes and raising the profile of how staff are essential in ensuring residents' wellbeing.

Entries are invited from individuals or members of a team. It is free to submit an entry.

There is no limit to the number of categories you may enter, but there is a limit of three entries per organisation per category.

There will be awards for the best:

Care home registered manager

Care home registered nurse

Care assistant

Care home team

Care initiative

Person-centred care

Entries close on Friday 13 September.
