On Tuesday 23 May History four homes visited Woodstock Residential Care Centre with a wonderful mobile Roman Museum exhibit. History 4 Homes is a social enterprise which specialises in providing Historical lectures and workshops for care home residents and special needs groups.
Residents at Woodstock enjoyed the afternoon listening to facts about the history of Romans and holding some of the artefacts. Everyone had fun trying the helmet on and looking at the typical clothing worn by Roman soldiers.
All the residents had a great time and they’re already looking forward to the next visit.
